This past winter the ice on lake pelican in Minnesota, where I have a house did not recede until the beginning of may, three weeks later than normal. Obviously this catastrophe is not what people like Al Gore want you to think it is.

Hey nancidrew4. The success of Man Made Global Warming (MMGW) deniers comes from the fact that the earth is cooling, that the MMGW theory is being proved false. Happily we are not under totalitarian control and there is some flow of information. But I think almost all MMGW deniers agree that CO2 has a minor warming effect since CO2 is a minor greenhouse gas. So very few people are total MMGW deniers. Myself I think global warming means better climate. Life is warm, death is cold.

why is it never mentioned that water vapor accounts for 70% of the greenhouse gases. while clouds account for 20% and CO2 accounts for 3.4% -5%? and humans are responsible for about 0.01% of the total CO2 in our atmosphere. why is this never mentioned to the general public in the media? P.S. i obtained most of my numbers from NOAA.

you obviously do not believe in the scientific process which is to try and disprove the best theory with observation and testing. the current observations conclude that the total % of CO2 in our atmosphere is 3.4-5%. of which humans are responsible for 0.01%. if you have numbers that contradict mine i'll be happy to hear them. otherwise, ignoring the natural CO2 to anthropogenic CO2 ratio (350:1) would be irrational and very un-academic.

Message = way off mark. The author should 'read the info'. Global warming leveled off in 1998 and the average global temperature has cooled 0.6 degrees C since 2001, as per various studies including UAH, British Meterological Society etc - a cooling trend that was not predicted by the IPCC's precious climate models.

So what if I drive a car I'm not guilty of poisoning the planet, I drive a Hummer 2 and could care less about co2 as its a very minor trace gas that has always been an effect of temp not a cause. i think the core fundamental driving forrce behind the entire global warming debate is the fact that we like to think we have the ability to drive climate when we infact dont, the Carbon is going from dead trees tinto the atrmoshpere, the carbon is ALWAYS there just changing forms
