i'm sure as technology progresses, SL will be harder to distinguish from REAL life and it could be like that holodeck thing on startrek. welcome to the matrix... what is real and what is memorex? why are there no fat or old people? reminds me of logan's run.

nobody know how to go to advanced option in SL but on macbook? I know that on WINDOWS u have to click ctl + alt but on macbook it doesnt work

forst of all it is no a "game" it is a 3D platform in it's beginning stages, where you can create your own stuff, people that are not artist do not get this, like people who do no appreciate video do not get you wasting your time on this page. So the next guy who says "get a life" should start by getting one him/herself.

Second Life is tragic... People spend way to much time on there trying to make there "Avatar" so special, how about spending some time improving your real life instead of the dated graphics boring virtual one you have worked so hard on...
The BBC documentary proves what kind of people are on there, they spend so much time on it they hardly even know how to interact with real people.
