Orca Attack Seal with Waves

Uploaded by: firpeace
Video Description:
In January 2006 while visiting Antarctica, we witnessed a most unusual method for orca to dislodge a crabeater seal from an ice floe - they made large waves to wash the seal off the relative safety of the ice. Later the orca put the seal back on the ice and dislodged the seal a second time which suggested strongly they were training their young.

the fact humans have technology and civilization completely contradicts what you just said
but we have tech. ... ( 2 weeks ago by nuriy)
but we have tech. and civ. not simply because of intelligence. Physiology plays a major role...orcas are physically powerful creatures that do not rely solely on intelligence to survive so their evolution doesn't afford them the same kind of developments as the human race...we are forced to survive by superior intelligence; also the fact that we have 4 fingers and an opposable thumb allows us to manipulate our environment more effectively...there are also a host of other factors as well

okay, so now your saying that they are not as intelligent in comparison to humans, and they are just physically more powerful? and if having 4 fingers and opposable thumbs were our main reason for being superior and not just the fact that we are intelligent enough to take advantage of our physical superiority, then monkeys would be living in houses and going to school.

its called the FOOD CHAIN, where other animals eat other animals. Learn it. Whales being hungry is no reason to hate them, fucktard. And I think one killer whale is worth 100 of those stupid seals, to tell you the truth.

maybe you can study up a bit on evolutionary theories if you're finding it difficult to understand my point, i'm don't have the kind of time necessary to cut and paste all the scientific data out there...take some time yourself to look it up...

"your" is ... ( 2 weeks ago by nuriy)
"your" is possessive form, "you're" is the word you wanted...and btw, I'm not wrong, go back and read my first post again, I simply stated that alot of what you perceive to be intelligence is a matter of being taught by others...and honestly, do some investigation into some of your own claims don't be lazy...

As long as we're dealing with tards I'll correct you and tell you that an Orca is not a whale, it's a dolphin. But I agree with your point.

They have come to be known as whales. Few people know that fact. If I said "dolphins being hungry..." no doubt that five noobs would reply saying "that's a whale, not a dolphin." So i saved the trouble, and called it a whale. And people find it alot easier to call a Killer Whale, a whale. Thanks for agreeing. Don't call me a tard.
