I wonder if Freddie knew he had AIDS by the time of this concert...it was only a year later when several of his "friends" started dropping dead. How did he feel when he sang this song?

Freddie did indeed die of AIDS, and, though he was diagnosed with it in 1987, according to a close friend of his, Mary Austin, whom he left his estate to, he knew he had HIV as earlier as 1984.

He may not have known exactly that it was AIDS, but he was surely already feeling the effects...unexplainable pain in his joints and all over inside your body, his shit all messed up, total lack of desire to eat...just the thought of eating making you ill. Yah, he knew something was wrong. I think this song was his way of saying goodbye. Don't worry, Freddie...you will live forever in our hearts, our minds, and our I-pods.

I use to like this band but now i dis-like them and i find freddie annoying and camp. i blame it on my friend he plays them all the time and have lots of posters and i find them very repetitive so im now sick of them. Does anyone feel the same as me.
