it's an endless argument! have you read "songwriters on songwriting" by paul zollo? he has long interviews with all 3 of them, and about a million others...great book if you're looking for a read.

I wish cohen still had his voice from when he was young. it's almost painful to listen to him when he's this deep. the album version of this is amazing though.
