well his arm must have connected with hosays knees which is the only weak spot in your legs and the velocity of his arm would have cut straight through his skin thus "shearing" them off.

you can actually see the legs flying away.. remember.. the smoke came out of their boots.. if u watch closely u can se the legs (and boots) flying away, and still "making smoke". Im sorry.. but i laughed when i found out.. sorry.. I know im horrible
