| Scotland is still part of Britain. The Scottish Parliament has devolved powers from Westminster in things like prisons, health, education, but matters that have a national(UK)and international importance are dealt with at Westminster. People in Scotland still have a British passport and there are no border controls on the Scottish/English border. Scotland has not become a separate country, just more say in its own affairs. And quite right too. But Scotland is still part of the UK. |
