The German New Wave Synth Band C.C.C.P. separated themselves from Synthpop Wannabes by having a tougher, more energetic sound. Led by vocalist Rasputin Stoy, C.C.C.P. released their debut singles "American-Soviets I" and "American-Soviets II" in 1986, both became alternative hits.

It's a good thing to hear the original version. Though we also respect the Cameron Paul Remix version of this song, we're already familiar with it so we were really eager to hear Rasputin Stoy sing some great lines. Our most favorite line is: "Why did the russians invade afghanistan?" and "It's only the kings that we'll have to defend." The latter is true.
