if anything, the boxer would have it worst having the piston pulled by gravity onto the chamber walls causing faster wera.. gravity has negligable effects on pistons moron.. the difference between the two would be the torque delivery of the car and the smoothness of it... your getting it confused with the centre of gravity, which has to do with the car body rolling... aluminium engines are more prone to wearing due to weak materials

You have got to be kidding me right, flat four motors have a better power travel dealing with piston momentum, they do not take a lot of energy to force the piston and make power No matter how you may present your argument on this topic,i4/6 piston travel is a direct conflict with 9.8ms and needs more power with greater force to propel the objects weight during piston travel.(geeez simple rules very simple rules) I really hope your not an engineering student at 31yrs old I'm tired. later

evo's seem to be that little bit ahead of impreza's all the time(except the new model) but im a subaru man, i currently own a 1999 wrx sti type-r and im getting a rebuild soon to 400+bhp after that i think ill be buying a 2006 jap sti. hope they change the new subaru's looks in the net few years to a more attractive looking car.

not in this video evo's arent ahead... i guess if your talking about tenths of a second and average drivers then a car tuned differently would make up for that. especially with the tunable ecu's now. see the prices at the end? a few dollars would also make a tenths of a second... so i think MRT are not really comparing or really putting an end to any grudge here. not a grudge match at all. but a nice introduction though mutual in respect.

I like the STi, I like the Evo 9. But I have to say, the Evo is a lot better than the STi.
To me, the Evo looks a lot better and also the performance matches my taste.

I just bought a 09 MR. The 6 speed is a bit more delicate then the 5 speed. But, unless you plan on tuning it to more the 400 HP, you are fine. I just had mine dyno tuned at AMS to 350 atw HP, this is ENOUGH. Enjoy your new car.

nice :) the only reson i didnt buy the 09 is because of its price and im only 16 i cant handle to pay for a 40k car and i wasnt that impressed with the times on the track. but i do have to say the inside of the 09 beats the hell out of the 06. but oh well i settled for a used evo 9 MR now it has 2k miles on i tbut had like 200 when i bought it.

Hrtfjyy, I wouldn't worry about weird smells from the interior lol. I've had my IX gsr for almost two years and there are no weird smells from inside or outside of the car. Be prepared to replace brake pads, tires, and clutches all of the time though because these cars chew through 'em very quickly.

please dont be dumb with it. i too am 16 with an evo and i was dumb early with it got a ticket doing 130 on a lone stretch gotten written up only for 90+ still got my liscense suspended for a month. and all kinds of ppl will try to race u. even trucks and pieces of shit. street racing is dumb when theres a lot of people around. u know ur car is faster than theirs dont do something stupid and hurt others. just thought id share my experiences

nah thats good man. thats how i am now. if i wanna have fun with my friends we go to the hills on empty windy roads where the evos AWD drive just shines. u are making good choices i learned the hard way going fast top end is really dumb. but man those canyon roads are just nothing to the evo it tears that shit up
