Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade RARE BTS Home Video Part1
Uploaded by: wforsche
Video Description:
The following home video is from William Forsche's personal video collection. This is not your average studio made movie press release; these are rare home movies (videos) shot during the production.
In 1988-89 I was fortunate enough to work at Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) and Lucasfilm during that time they were filming "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade". My arms were used in the construction and de-construction of Julian Glover's character: Walter Donavan during the "Holy Grail" sequen
ce. This video shows the setup and filming of the "Fire Tunnel" sequence. It is also interesting to note that this came from the time just before computer graphics (CG) took over as the primary source for most movie special effects. The miniature model making, the "glass" matte painting, sculpting,
and other tactile "hands on creations" are a joy to see up close and personal. I was also one of the extras filmed when Indy and his father drive up to the airport after their high speed motorcycle chase.

| Awesome models! I have books with pictures of these models. You actually got to work on them! Very jealous. Probably a good thing i wasn't there as I would have been stealing stuff left and right :) |
