i wasn,t disrepecting vam damme I,m just saying he got his ass kicked nothing wrong about that . I was there when joe lewis (not the boxer) came uo to chuck norris and told him he was going to kick his ass (this visibly shook mr norris up ) and proceeded to do so . I saw bruce lee do countless demostrations in the 60s but never would compete (some have argued that he shyed away from it so he wouln't look bad ,I,ve won my share , but have also got my ass kicked but at least i tried

Are you talking about Joe Lewis, 10th Degree Black Belt, Grandmaster. Member of the first combat unit in Vietnam, 8th Marine Brigade, 1965. One of the first Americans to teach Hand to Hand Combat in Vietnam working with Division Recon. I didn't know him before but I sure know him now, thanks. I'm going to try and learn something from him. He's like Bruce Lee and myself, he don't believe in styles.
