fight in rounds in high level is a job. defense is a right for everybody. you dont need as many hoursa day to learn wc as to bome a boxing machune

it must be you because that boxing match was pure wing chun. The way he was throwing shovel hooks and upper cuts and crosses and jabs was pure wing chun. he just didnt use the centerline. or a wing chun stance. or a wing chun structure. or a tan sao or or a bong sao or a pak sao. or a chain punch. make sense?
Come to think of it ive never seen any wing chun fighter win a fight in the cage or bxing ring. Except when they use a different style.

That's because no style is complete by itself! Not even bjj, Gracie jj or any of the other grappling/ground fighting styles. You have to incorporate elements from many arts if you wanna survive in the octagon. It is the combination of arts that make the fighter effective.

Were any of those fights against professional boxers or just amateur boxers like the ones shown (head gear, 10oz gloves etc). Wouldn't that be the same as a proffessional boxer entering a novice martial arts comp? doesn't prove alot.

I know Henning....the boxing was before he started Wing Tsun. Danish Wing Tsun has some of the best schools.
