I have fond memories of this game too. I could do with a next-gen update of the game. I'm glad to see more people enjoyed being a cyberpunk ^^

Thanks psyk, I hope you are right. What I would really like to see is the same view with modern graphics, easy controls so anyone can play but online multiplayer, even mmorg style! Huge teams blasting the living daylights out of eachother! LOL thanks for at least keeping the dream alive!

I'm not sure if Youtube is letting me post a link, so I will post a Google search which will show the web site that helps you with running the game perfectly on modern computers with Windows, etc.: "syndicate running the game on new computers"

Get the latest version of DosBox.
Get a copy of the original CD. Copy the game files to a HD directory. Create a folder c:\syndicate\synd\save. Load DosBox. Type "Mount c c:\" You shouldn't really do this with DosBox (you're not supposed to mount a root directory) but it seems necessary for the game to keep saved games and your
soundcard settings. Run the game off your hard drive through DosBox. On first running it should detect your sound hardware. Works for me anyway.
