LOL @ the guy LOLing @ me. Drag tires definitely help, but going balls to the wall with 1000hp there's no way a RWD car is ever going to get full traction in the quarter mile, period. Let's see you get in a 1000hp RWD car going all out and even make it to the speed trap, let alone beat a 10 second GTR. :)

wheelie bars are the only reasonable shot that any dragster has to put down its power.
if it wasnt for them they would do 7-8 sec in the 1/4 with no wheelspin at all and if they could put down ALL of their power(im talking about dragsters ) they could do 2.8 to 3 sec 1/4 mile times. if they were awd it would be faster!!!!!!!!! check that out
