| If you people knew anything about these guys, you'd know that their father was abusive, and their mother was an alcoholic. It's an empowering song about coming from a bad home, and actually making something of yourself. |

| What drives me crazy is that people insult this song for no good reason. 1. It shouldn't matter what songs are 'cool' today. What matters is whether or not it appeals to your personal musical taste. Just because it's not cool today, doesn't mean that it should make me feel bad when I listen to it 2. It was popular when it was popular. Back when this first came out it wasn't 'gay'. It were pretty cool. So if you put yourself in the mindset of the fans from back then, it's actually pretty awesome. |
