Hawking's voice is ... ( 4 months ago by capnarness)
Hawking's voice is a computer, and my challenge to the Professor still stands: Recalling the Feynman lectures, in answer to what're the strings made of, you can do no better than "It's turtles all the way down!" Also the Phys Rev D paper remains problematic. In attempting to explain the null result of the experimental test, by modeling rest mass particles traveling at the speed of light, it makes as fundamental a violation of Special Relativity as there could be to save General Relativity.

hey... alot of this physics is way over my head. but, what predictions does this theory make? I like your interpretation of the tolman experiment.
This hypothesis ... ( 4 months ago by capnarness)
This hypothesis predicts two parallel laser beams will not attract gravitationally until their probability distributions overlap significantly vs. GR predicts attraction widely separated. Due to GR's fundamental postulate that stress-energy tensor curves space infinitely in all directions. Well known NULL result of this experimental test is much simpler explained by this unified energy vector hypothesis. Whereas Phys Rev D GR damage control paper by Faraoni & Dumse remains highly problematic.

if something curves ... ( 3 months ago by bob8878)
if something curves space time infinitely wouldnt that mean that any dimension of space time running parralell to the black hole or something wouldnt exist and since black holes warp spacetime in 3 dimensions wouldnt that mean it cant exist
someone please answer this for me
its not something nessecary for me to know before i get to my 11th year of school but im realy curious and people just tend t ignore me becuase im young
The fundamental ... ( 3 months ago by capnarness)
The fundamental postulate of General Relativity is all particle-wave matter and energy, in the form of the stress-energy tensor, curves 4D spacetime infinitely out in all directions to explain the gravitational attraction between particle-waves. Rather than by exchange of "virtual" particle-waves as is done in the Standard Model to explain the electromagnetic and nuclear forces. Otherwise a black hole is like the intake of a jet engine...you'll keep existing if you don't walk by too close.
from my ... ( 3 months ago by ethioKid3000)
from my understanding, a medium is a thing that objects travel through. like the sound waves that propagate through the medium of air. or how scientists believed the earth traveled through the medium known as the aether. So for words, their medium would be consciousness. Consciousness doesn't need words to exist, but words need consciousness. i re-checked that statement at the end of ur abstract, but it looks different from what i remembered, and doesn't explain why i posted what i did.
No problem, just ... ( 3 months ago by capnarness)
No problem, just focusing here on the definition of a medium being the entity which provides the restoring force for a wave displacement. So in that the gravitational cross product provides the restoring force for the electromagnetic cross product, the gravitational is then the medium for the electromagnetic, and visa versa. Their relativistic medium is consistent with the Quantum Philosophy gravitational lens experiment, indicating the universal thought process to be background independent.
Alternative to ... ( 2 months ago by topos100)
Alternative to heaviside?? Sounds like Whitter's 1903 and 1904 paper. I think I get this. But it sure sounds like the vector potential taken seriously a al Aharonov-Bohm effect but a generalized version. I'm reading Feynman's lectures now.
Actually topos100, ... ( 2 months ago by capnarness)
Actually topos100, comparison to Heaviside's (e x h) gravitational cross product is remote. He related it to a moving particle of matter, analogous to Lorentz force of moving electric charge. He didn't add it to E x H energy vector. If Whitter precedes, then it was 2 yrs before SR and 30 yrs before 1934 Tolman exp finding gravitational attraction of light to be 2X Newtonian force. Aharonov-Bohm effect may well need to be reinterpreted given spherical expansion of pair-producing photon's flux.

do you have a Ph.D in physics?
I do not have a ... ( 2 months ago by capnarness)
I do not have a Ph.D, or BS either. Furthest I got was a scholarship from U.S. Dept of Energy to work at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab in the Nuclear Science Division for a few semesters. Then self-home schooling after that. I intend to let Equations 2 & 7 be my credential. Written in Maple 10, the unified 8Pi lemniscate transverse quantum field magnitudes, over one wavelength, establish the basis for 4D gravitoelectromagnetic curvature of spacetime within the metric of Special Relativity.

I just saw a Neal Adams vid, and found yours with a search for Pair Production. Oops. You speak a language I don't think I could ever learn! People sometimes tell me I'm smart. I think of people like you and shake my head!
You're still as ... ( 2 months ago by capnarness)
You're still as smart as you ever was, theunknownknows. It just takes time to get familiar with a new perspective...and to perhaps see an alternative solution, once the problem is defined on a more comprehensive, that is to say inclusive basis. I'm talking here of course about a relativistic medium being a physical model compatible with Intelligent Design, such as the late John Wheeler was effectively looking for.
I'm sort of a ... ( 2 months ago by crawhip2)
I'm sort of a novice in this subject, but I find it quite interesting...are u saying that General Relativity theory remains to be a very solid theory (based on the fact that light speeed is finite, and nothing can surpass its speed?)
Sounds like yer ... ( 1 month ago by capnarness)
Sounds like yer gettin yer Special Relativity alpine mixed up with yer General Relativity nordic there crawhip2. What I'm saying is as successful as GR is on the very large scale, it's common knowledge it breaks down on the microscopic scale...and I believe the experimental test of (anti)parallel laser beams would show the present hypothesis postulates fewer entities, and makes fewer assumptions, than string/M-theory...while being much more compatible with Intelligent Design.
Since you are ... ( 1 month ago by crawhip2)
Since you are geneally saying that GR theory breaks down at microscopic scales, to me this indicates that space is not curved as Einstein predicted, and that space is flat -am I corect so far? (After all thereis no evidence that space is curved -am I right?
No crawhip2, that's ... ( 1 month ago by capnarness)
No crawhip2, that's not quite how I see it. The paper's equations 2, 7, and 8 form a matrix of the quantum's gravitoelectromagnetic transverse vectors, distributed over one wavelength, in its own inertial frame. And are used in Maple 10's spacecurve plotting function to generate the plot of Frames 4:11-31...thereby establishing the basis for a unified gravitoelectromagnetic 4D curvature of spacetime within the Minkowski metric of Special Relativity.

What actual evidence has ever been observed for "gravitons"?
No one is saying ... ( 1 month ago by capnarness)
No one is saying they've observed gravitons, however gravitational waves are claimed to have been indirectly observed. The LIGO group is seeking to detect gravitational waves directly.
String/M-Theory is ... ( 4 weeks ago by capnarness)
String/M-Theory is fading in much of the physics community. In the 2006 book "Not Even Wrong" physicist Peter Woit says String/M-Theory is not a theory at all: "It makes no predictions, even wrong ones, and this very lack of falsifiability is what has allowed the subject to survive and flourish." "Not Even Wrong" was of course a phrase used by Wolfgang Pauli when he was handed some untestable "aesthetic speculation."
