| She's a talented jazz stylist that's fun to listen to and a lot of people agree or she wouldn't be so popular. Ninety nine percent of "music" on commercial radio is crapola from mediocre singers and players and the songs that have a great melody line and lyric and chord structure and are done with a jazz feel are major breaths of fresh air. So go and listen to others until you develop some taste. |

| i doubt my opinion will be taken well but i honestly just don't enjoy her voice while her rendition of flying to the moon with a more light hearted jazzy tone was very nice her voice in my opinion is a tad bit horse (and not in that good louis armstrong way) but hey thats just my opinion.. great pianist..average vocalist |

| i can agree in so far as to say i doubt she would have been famous as just a singer. However, by virtue of the fact that the same person is playing and singing, an unrivaled level of voice-piano coordination can be achieved, which i think is what makes it sound (in my opinion) so flawless. |

She also doesn't write her own songs - so again what is she the best at -maybe at conning idiots!!! Check out other talented females like Joni Mitchell and Carole King who play and write thir own songs,crappy Diana Krall couldn't hope to hold a candle to them!!! |

| Can't get enough of this vid! John Clayton f'ing swings like hell here, and Diana Krall perfectly supports this by playing very much onto the bass. And the piano solo really transfers alot of emotions. That's what Jazz is about. |
