it is so hard 2 forgive ppl and how they truly hurt you, but i guess you got 2 do it eventually. Cuz if i GOD can forgive me for some serious crazy uneccesary things that i have done, i guess i can and should do the same for those that have hurt me and thanks those who forgive me. This song is a classic, and all classics get re-sung hundreds of times and each unique in their own way. Personally i like this version better than Don Henley's. Great video!

I did too. It just seemed to fit better when it was sung from a woman's point of view. And this new style seemed to flow better.
