I agree, this video does not seem genuine at all. It seems like someone recorded a little weatherman skit, put it on there TV, then recorded it to make the obvious fake seem more credible.

Too bad chaff is very local, it only effects maybe 100 square meters of area. It is designed to confuse an incomming radar guided missile, not blanket an entire area of a state or the US. Releasing a cloud of chaff like that would pose a very real threat to commercial airliners, because they would suck the pieces of aluminum into their engines causing a lot of damage and maybe a crash.

Uh, do you have any idea as to what you are saying? ABC's main radar is less than 10 miles out of MacDill AFB, which is also US Central Command. I have actually been on base and seen what they do. It is believable, and it happens regularly. Hate to burst your happy bubble.

About it being fake, I watch ABC28, because I live in their area. You should see this guy during a thunderstorm. He actually had us scared to death of a tropical storm. That said, he does tend to be overly dramatic at times, making him loose his credibility.
