the overboost is an option on the Turbo. it doesnt add HP, but increases the torque o over 500 ft/lb for 10 secs.

i dont like this model,on porsch i think the gt3 and the carrera gt,without forgeting the cayenne r the best,erase this,and porsche will fall down...compare with the ferrari,the f430 is a great car(sorry its illegal to compare such great car with a porsch :p)sorry for the porsche's fans,it's my oppinion

the overboost is like a powerbelt on a 2-stroke dirtbike, it happens when you hit high rpm's in a low gear, awesome ammount of torque if i might add

911 twin turbo (997) is the best car porsche has made so far, the cayman is a piece of junk made to be barely faster (engine wise) than the boxter s and the carrera isnt a car, its a machine, they cannot be compared, thats like comparing an F1 car to a toyota

i guess u never heard of 959, 993 turbo, 997 GT3 (RS), ALL GT2s. And by the way the cayman and the boxter have the same engines. It is also believed that porsche gave cayenne longer gears, to make it slower, so it wouldnt be as fast as the base carrera.

you could, but then you would have to drive it like an old lady and there isnt any point in buying a car like that inorder to drive it slow. The same goes for this Porsche, the 36 mpg is at the parking lot, if you drive around like he is in the video, then you'll get ~12 mpg lol.
