He can't sue the police for anything. He has no leg to stand on. He DID get a lawyer who negotiated a plea and got 18-months probation in lieu of going to trial, but there is nothing to go after the police for. He has admitted he was wrong & did it for attention. If he would've calmed down, he wouldn't have had anything happen to him other than leaving the room like a civilized person. The whole reason he gets taken by police is because he won't leave. It's that simple.

He knew EXACTLY what was going on. He did it for the sole purpose of getting this on camera to make a youtube vid & get undeserved sympathy from "sheeple" like yourself, who don't bother to use their minds to assess the ENTIRE situation, & would rather act on emotion. Prankster or not it seems very alarming since there seem to be more and more events similar to these. Kerry even said it was okay and he was simply getting into satire and criticism, they do it all the time. It also seems odd that they decided to simply arrest him in the middle of the entire thing. Sympathy? Wrong, it's more likely to draw attention to the actions of the police which seem less and less useful.

He wasn't initially BEING arrested. He was just being removed for breaking multiple forum rules. Had he left with them, they would've just taken him outside, given him a talk, and sent him on his way. When he fought with the cops, pushed and elbowed the fat black cop, broke free from the cops TWICE, hence resisting an officer, tried to incite the crowd to step in and interfere the cops to help him avoid a simple removal, hence inciting a riot, THAT is when the removal changed to an arrest.

Listening to Kerry is what caused this whole mess in the first place. He'd PREVIOUSLY disrupted the forum, cutting in line, pushing his way to the mic, berating Kerry and cussing at Kerry, WHILE ANOTHER STUDENT WAS TALKING! They were about to kick him out EARLIER, when Kerry requested that he be allowed to ask *a* question, not three or more. The cops had no obligation to listen to Kerry, but they were nice enough to honor his request, a mistake that they weren't gonna make TWICE.

I'm pretty sure that this was just a stunt.
Because it was reported that when the camera wasn't on him, Meyer was more cooperative. And later when he got into the police car, he told the cops that he wasn't mad at them at all.
