Dangerous? What did happend to you here? Nobody`s perfect, but foreigners sometimes are shocked that 4 example mans are usualy gallant for womans and people are generally useing phrases like "please" and "thank you". "Scamming, defrauding and graft are a part of their daily lives." Maybe... bad habit from communist times, if you needed to seek even for a food on the black market. There are many more amuseing towns, like Pozna
ń, Zamość, Pułtusk, Płock and so on, altrough i like Kazimierz too.

What in the hell is dangerous in Warsaw go to London you can get stab with the knife for nothing !!!
And you still think London is much safer than WARSAW !! lol
Nothing "happened" ... ( 1 month ago by karmastorms)
Nothing "happened" to me there. I was with native born Poles, one who still lives there in Warsaw and one who is now an American living in the USA. They were even quite nervous of some areas, the bazaar for one. It's a beautiful city with a lot of history, and I did enjoy touring it, but we stayed out of some of the rougher areas.
As for the gallantry, man to woman...sorry but I'd have to strongly disagree! Least not by American standards. I didn't witness any myself ANYWHERE in Poland.
Just because there ... ( 1 month ago by karmastorms)
Just because there are other dangerous cities in the world, London you claim, Hong Kong, LA, NY, and even Las vegas where I live, doesn't negate the fact the Warsaw is also one of them. Poland definitely has it's groups of dangerous individuals. I toured with Poles, and was constantly being "protected" and told to beware of this or that, particularly the "gypsies" everywhere we went. I thought they were a bit paranoid, but they grew up there so I took them at their word.
"Gypsyies ... ( 1 month ago by mikolajoskierko)
"Gypsyies everywhere", yes... maybe 5-7 years ago. Warsaw WAS a dangerous city, now... you can see policeman or monitoring on the almost every spot, not just in the center. For real, i don`t know how it`s with that "gallantry" as i`m a man, and i`m usually like that for womans. That bazaar, you probably mean the "stadium" (biggest bazaar in Europe), it`s closed at now. Maybe the eastern side is little bit more dangerous, but most of all is just mythologised.

Poor Poles, what Ja

Exactly my point ... ( 1 month ago by karmastorms)
Exactly my point with too many Poles...someone else's fault for their state of affairs. You all did a great job at Gdansk or is it Danzig? Or is it Gdansk again? Americans fault, not yours?? What a joke. If I remember my history correctly, we won that war. You are the type that brings your own country down, and the image of your people. I know not all Poles are like this...but it shows what I was talking about.
Your comments ... ( 1 month ago by Kakadu81)
Your comments reflect a typical American blend of ignorance and arrogance. Its nice that you know the history of your coutry. It is pathetic that you have no idea about Poland and yet you are so eager to give others lessons on that topic, because you believe you are so smart...I had a great deal of laughter reading through your "analyses"

mikolajoskierko, just give it up, cause the American boy will know the things better anyway. He probably believes his American passport has given his some special wisdom and extraordinary capacities in making judgements. Typical. "Of course not all Americans are like that"
That is what I ... ( 1 month ago by SparrowNoblePoland)
That is what I expected. You totally don't understand our reality. Before WWII we were just reborned country- country of smart people with noble ancestry and for-freedom fighters. Alliants sold us out to communist part of the world- this crushed our identification and stopped advancement- that is the source of the problems. That is why I wrote: "Poor Poles, what Ja
łta did to us."

"You all did a great job at Gdansk or is it Danzig? Or is it Gdansk again?" It had a different names, even in Latin it was Gedania or Dantzike, native Kashubians call it Gdu
ńsk. I`m afraid you don`t know this history, or just forgot that Stalin was your allie...
