President Ronald Reagans Speech at Point-du-Hoc, Normandy

My first attempt at video editing, a tribute video to those who fought, some surviving, others falling, on the Beaches of Normandy in World War II.
Part of the reason I suppose I did this now was that there is what I consider an alarming trend with some who refer to this person or that person as a Nazi or some Hitler as if this is just an insult you hurl around. It seems perhaps, even if unmeant, to be insulting to the memories of those who f
ought so valiantly, gave so bravely and fell with such nobility on those far distant beaches fighting the onslaught of Hitler and the Nazi's. This is a thank you to them and a plea for others not to take what they fought against so lightly as if to consider it so light as just to throw around so eas
ily. With heartfelt gratitude that can never completely to expressed to those who served thank you to all who fought there, we remember.

I know this video is to honor the soldiers who made such an incredible sacrifice in the face of the ugliest evil we have yet known... but just listening to President Reagan's speech reminds me of how wonderful of a man he was as well.
God bless those who served on D-day, and who have served this country. RIP President Reagan... you are dearly missed.

Thank you for this video. It should really help those to know who and what Hilter and Nazis really were. These men that were there, fallen and not, deserve the greatest respect and honor from all of us. God Bless and thank you again.

Ronaldus Magnus at his best. God Bless all the Allied forces who fought that day. I hope the free world appreciates what those men did that day, I know I do. God bless each and every one of them, they did what needed to be done, never questioning their cause or their fate. Their courage and honor is hard to match and has, sadly, become rare.

Went to Pointe Du Hoc last week where Reagan did this speech. Its ashame you cant stand where the great man stood on the German Outlook Bunker anymore. Just standing at this amazing site you cant comprehend what the Rangers did. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
