I think you're nitpicking semantics here. I 'think' Sir Elton John is more popular. I 'think' Billy is a better musician. My opinion is all I was giving, sorry. If album sales tell a certain number, I'm sure there is another number that tells a different story as you can prove anything you want with statistics. However, I will totally agree with you that they are the most talented mainstream pianist today. My own piano skills are a melding from both of them - and many others...
