To those that don't know already, the audio is taken from the Original "Banned In DC" cassette that was released back in 1982. Recorded at 171-A Studios, NYC, during August, September and October 1981, except "Pay To Cum," which was recorded live at 171-A on May 16, 1981. The crowd noise is dubbed in also. You wouldn't hear a crowd like that at a PUNK show back in the '80's, especially at a Bad Brains show. Still a good video. BAD BRAINS RULE.

the younger generation must be told and made to understand that there were black bands playing Rock n Roll in the 1980's. this has been missed and is a gross dereliction from all of us that were there. show them what hardcore in america really meant. unity. identity. justice. the core values of a movement lost. RAR. ROIR. DK. HR. We cant give this a miss. And the kids will love it. FISHBONE.

r-e-l-a-x. bad brains were a mystical phenomenon and perhaps the greatest band of all time.but hardcore was not a movement with values and the like. just crazy energy. the "younger generation" is always the better generation and it is always their own turn to live in the here and now and do their own thing. the past should never be worshiped.

Hardcore was definitely a movement. Music sucked back in the days before hardcore came out. Hardcore punk rock is responsible for music progressing beyond journey, foghat, anbd the eagles and shit like that. Hardcore was and kinda still is a movement. Its just sad that most of the bands suck. Glad the bad brains are back.
