that's RA's style. he's toned it down a little bit so you can understand his lyrics better. plus back in '92-'96 everyone was doing ill vocal styles like this. that's what got people open on him-he sounds like a mental ward patient, but he got crazy lyrics and what he says is funny but truthful. i like his style though.

Considering Jive ... ( 3 months ago by Rurne)
Considering Jive was a part of Zomba, and Zomba slowly got absorbed by BMG after this, and now Zomba is under the ownership of Sony BMG, I can only imagine it'd be a bureaucratic nightmare. Sony's one of the biggest scumsuckers in the industry (and that's saying a lot). I can only imagine they'd ask for some insane amount because of "perceived" licensing potential. Combine that with the amount you'd spend on lawyers and, well, we're talkin millions I'm sure RA doesn't quite have to piss away.
What perceived ... ( 3 months ago by ReaperX3ro)
What perceived licensing potential though? That album has been unreleased since 94. The only thing they could possibly get any worth out of is the track with Biggie...but then they'd have to fight with Bad Boy/Warner to come up with an excuse to release it. I'm surprised RA hadn't paid for it in pocket change by now.

I don't know... the same licensing potential that Poppa Large had when it got featured on EA/Def Jam's "Fight For New York." Seriously, how many young cats remember Ultramagnetic? On the real tip, though, I'm working the indie game right now. It sucks to get Caroline to pick you up, and Koch won't play either. So, to buy out a track at ten times its worth for _one_ licensing agreement makes it hard for artists to get their joints back and issue it on the dolo.

Top 5 rapper of all times it's a shame really.Has anyone ever bothered to read up on his life his father who he sings about in Uncommon valor with Jedi Mind Tricks.Well that verse is basically a true story.Did anyone know that when Biggie Smalls was asked who was the Illist rapper he said "damn I thought I was the Illist" referring to RA. Wiki his shit you'll see what I mean.

Its sad to see that like he makes good music but Record Labels, BET, MTV, VH1, 106, they only go for like mainstream artists so the people that have REAL talent dont get noticed because they dont appeal to the masses if anybody at all like appearance wise and all that... Theirs alot of factors that go into getting signed.. im sure you could be the best rapper alive but nobody will know because your to fat or too white or i dont know theirs just always a factor.. But thats life.. a giant filter
The whole ' ... ( 1 month ago by CACKFUCKINGCACK)
The whole 'Crustified Dibbs' persona was a kinda gimmick thing. He ain't really retarded at all, in fact, he's quite the opposite (though he is a little unstable behaviour-wise) have you checked out his newer stuff from 2000 onwards, he sounds like a completely different person.

No, that album was never released. I'm not even sure whether this was released anywhere at all. The only thing he released while signed to Jive was a single called 'Bloodshed Hua Hoo'. There's a video for it on youtube.

Yeah mate, I couldn't agree with you more. Some joints you have to check out that I know are here on youtube are 'Give it Up' feat. J-live 'Renaissance 2.0' - that's a joint with Hell Razah, Tragedy and Timbo King, 'Super', '3 Kings' with Big John and Kool G Rap and arguably his greatest work to date ' Uncommon Valor' with Jedi Mind Tricks. Every one of these songs he completely kills it.
Enjoy!
