Apparently the giant owl is Moloch, some kind of deity or symbol. It's an owl because owls are able to see in the dark, able to see things that ordinarily would not be noticed (hence Illuminati, etc...). So basically these people are the owls and we're the mice.

Interesting to note that the general tone in this news report is that this Bohemian Grove is just a club for little boys who are now rich grown-ups. Yet then it's mentioned that talks about nuclear technology happened there before WWII.
Sounds more like a serious place for allowing a bunch of powerful control-freaks to get together to plan their intertwined agendas in the various strata of society (political, media, business, military, war).
