Been reading Slash's Book, he says steven still doesnt understand to this day, and still asks why he was kicked out of GnR.
quite sad really to see how screwed up he has become, the others kept far better control over their addictions than he did, and he came out worse. Slash was probably the second worst in the band when it came to drugs, i pity steven about how hes become, great drummer though, he was gnr.

He's so fucked up from his stroke,,he'll never look/talk normal,,,no matter how many years he stays clean. But he wont he'll end up dead! From DRUGs,,,yes it's only a matter of time. He will DIE!!!!!!!!!

if it wasn't for Steve we wouldnt have the original 'sound' of GNR, he gave them the more punk style of drumming, he was a vital member and they died when they lost him, Adler rocks!!!

you're soooo right grahamfury!! Steven was so important for all the songs! If he had done all stuff on illusions the album would have way more character recognizable style. use your illusions doesnt sound like gnr...of course they're great songs but most of the songs were destroyed by the "matt sorum feel" and the strange mixing. In public it's all about slash and axl, but all 5 members are egaul in every case!!!
