I do too! Pheasant and his wife were one of the most entertaining and well-rounded of the early characters.

someone was saying "why did so many animals have to die" well...that's what life is like for an animal, a never ending cycle of violence and death and predators. It was realistic and didn't make animal life seem like fairytale stuff. But my lord how i cried when Badger and Bold died, it was so overly depressing for me as a kid, especially when i grew attatched to these characters and they had to die, it was like losing a family member or friend.

It doesn't matter, it's an extremely understandable error. English is a very peculiar language. For instance, it doesn't have a proper Future (Perfect) Tense like French, it's cobbled together with Present Tense. A good rule, is "used to" before. For instance, "I used to watch" can be used if you can't master the past tense ("I watched"). A good rule is just to read lots of English, you will pick up the odd rules which are present throughout the language. Infact, if you have any questions, pm me
