She's not telling you what to do! Numbskull! She's just seeking to avoid the kind of easy quick sensationalism that often arises when people tackle difficult and taboo subjects, I think she's asking people to look at more than just the salacious aspects first, because there's a lot of pain and sadness and even insight in the film which can so easily be overlooked by a knee-jerk reaction to the material. Fair enough too, she's invested a lot in the role!
