that's great, I'm happy for your Chinese family from the Republic of China who eat Chinese food and speak Chinese and write Chinese and read Chinese and I have nothing against ALL Chinese people even ones from the island called Taiwan. :P

we may eat chinese food, just like people in the world eat food from other countries example: people in the americas drink tea,just like people in europe and asia (not sure about africa), and we may speak chinese but we also speak taiwanese. taiwan got its independece from china a long time ago...
