i totally agree ... ( 8 months ago by Zecalran)
i totally agree 100% with citation of the judge. Indeed we need balance in relation to any musical form. I think it's simply out of line to adhere to such stringent copy right laws when in fact totally original outputs can unintentionally be related to something out there. It's simply going suck all attempts of original-ism dry.

THANK YOU, very informative and interesting not just because i listen to that kind of music where this sample is used a lot (hardcore tekkno, jungle, drum&bass, hiphop) i even used the amen break in my own tracks without knowing anything about its origins ... it just came with some sample collection along with a whole load of other drum loops i wonder if i find this winston album on my dads record shelf ... he's got a lot of 60s and 70s stuff...
oh yeah, by the way ... ( 4 months ago by th3h8ed1)
oh yeah, by the way, i got some thoughts about the copyright thing: the industry has ALWAYS been moaning and crying about the protection of their "copyrights" ever since there was a possibility to copy music from one media to another ... vinyl records to cassette tapes for example ... like our parents used to copy their new album for their friends on cassete tapes so do we, as people of the digital age, share our music by burning it on CD-R, dub it to DAT Tape, MD or Memory Stick, nothig changed

All the Amen break ... ( 2 weeks ago by switch667)
All the Amen break says to me now about a track is how unoriginal and sheeplike the artist is, just like all the others, Baaaaaah!!! People are too scared to experiment and try new things and be different. The Drum & Bass/Jungle scene needs wake up and notice this or they will still be dancing to it in 2018 what a sickening thought!!!
This break beat is ... ( 1 week ago by barriobajaj)
This break beat is a rip off of Tommy Roe's song Sweet Pea. Check it out and post what you think. This song came out in '65. This was four years before The Winstons' Amen Brother which is just a ripoff medley of Curtis Mayfield and The Impressions.
