My father is Asian and migrated to Australia when there was a White Australia Policy. Disgusting. I had to hide the fact he was Asian. Fortunately migration has increased Australia's cultural mix and expanded views, so the "average anglo racist Aussie" is a minority.
I feel for our Aboriginal people, they have been forced to live in a culture they do no want. There is no amount of money or education that can fix this.
But we are responsible for life right now and need to do what is right for all.
The African-americans in this country..(namely Louis Farakhan, Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton) feel that reparations should be made to black slave descendants. I totally disagree..along w/many of my countrymen/women. Minorities in this country have greater opportunities than your average white i
ndividual.
