i gotta say i think mustaine more than hammett. being a guitarist i know that songs like the original songs with metallica and mustaine like the four horsemen/ the mechanix and holy wars are wayyyyyyyy more technical that master of puppets, justice, and even ride the lightning (considering that dave wrote the song ride the lightning)

you don't understand the point of comment rating then... people will thumb you down if they don't agree, it has nothing to do with the validity of your opinion. all that the two thumbs down means is that for every person who agrees with your comment, two more than that disagree. anyway, if you come to a metallica video bashing kirk, what do you expect?

mechanix is WAAAAAAAAAAAY easier to play than master of puppets, and holy wars doesnt sound as difficult to play as master of puppets....
do you realize how difficult master of puppets is... tempo 220 with downstrokes only. took me a very long time to learn that and horsemen took like a lazy week to do

okay i can play all of master of puppets, mechanix, the four horsemen, one, holy wars, seek and destroy, fade to black, ride the lightning, battery, sanitarium, and whiplash. i think id know that mechanix and holy wars are by far tougher than master of puppets. the only tough part of master of puppets is verse after the spanish phrygian riff and the firs 10 seconds of the main solo. mechanix is plaied much faster and is much harder to play

so can i and yes i agree. mechanix takes a lot of coordination to jump around. Puppets isn't that difficult, i've only been playing guitar for 10 months and by far holy wars was the hardest out of all the ones you listed (can't actually play ride the lightning haven't tried it) but still i agree, puppets just takes a lot of muscle and attention to timing, otherwise easy except second riff after solos

i disagree the beginning of master of pupets takes a lot of picking only down!!! that hurts a lot more then pickin up and down. maybe am not so experienced ive been playin for a year but if u play master of puppets the right way then for me it hurts. when i play the four horsemen or mechanix is not that hard because u have to strum up and down thats easy for me and am not good at the solos but either way its what i think

I have no trouble doing the down picking in Master Of Puppets and I have also only played for a year. Infact I like to speed it up when I play it. It's all about practice.

well i guess its really up to the person u kno. i could strum up and down fast in a whole song and i wont get tired but picking down fast kills me maybe its the way we pick who knows.
