I'll never renounce to the building blocks, it'd be absurd to show an origami from the square paper to the final figure, through 100 steps, without making clear that some were used also in ten previous models! ^_^;;
So, you want more (thanks for those clarifications! :-D)?! Hmmm, I suspect that *today* you'll have more! In the end, 1000 cranes begin with one...

Oh, don't worry: origami always makes this effect, the first time... but I can grant you that it isn't so complex, after all...
Well... it also depends from the design! ^_^
Thank you for stopping by!
And I like that adjective, "systematic", because it really fits with the method I've tried to organize these tutorials with!
By the way... I'm not a lady! I'm a man, the one you can see at 0:09 in the opening titles! ^_^;;
But, anyway, thank you very much for your enthusiasm: glad to know you've found a new hobby! :-D
Dan
Oh, for sure you'll get it right: you got an amazing amount of at least one of the most important ingredients required... patience!
:-)
May your forecoming times be like a beautiful origami: it takes patience, work hard, precision, will... but at the end the result is just beautiful and rewarding! :-D
Let me thank you for having asked that in such a nice way: sadly, someone asked the same thing too much rudely... :-\
Have a good day! ^_^
