Just to clear things up. Anggun did not choose to be French Nationality, she wanted to stay in France to be able to pursue her career and she asked for the Indonesian gvt. to help her out so she could keep her Indonesian Nationality, BUT for some reason they did not want to help her. That's why she had to let go of her Nationality. She loves Indonesia and she's proud of being Indonesian. She may be French nationality by law, but she's always indonesian at heart.
