A video done for a school media project. Nice powerful ending. I drummed for the vid... it doesnt line up in some parts cos of the editing... but it still looks ok (it is just a school project after all.... nothing pro). Please ignore the part at 2:30ish where the song is in an offbeat groove and the editor had me playing straight hats! Not happy, but hey!

That was SICK! You guys did an excellent job, and I'm really impressed at what a few high school-aged kids can produce these days. I like the song, as I was searching for a good version of John Butler's "Oldman", and I found your video. I still haven't found a good one of John playing it. The live versions sound horrible. You guys seem to have a great band, and I really like the video, as well.

odessaboy: Do you really think that rock videos are always filmed "live"? If so, then I must tell you that most videos you see are "overdubbed", meaning that the video is filmed TO the music of the song and not vice versa, unless it is a video of a live performance. Sometimes the musicians are playing on a beach, for instance, or they are playing next to the Grand Canyon. Usually, those types of videos are "overdubbed", but they are still good. Right? Okay.

For someone who is new to the music of John Butler I'd say you provided a good introduction, because I would never be able to understand what the lyrics are without watching the video you made. I like the way he enounces (is that a word?) the words, like "he looks out the window..."

never mind about offbeat and hats - simultaneousity is not great in many sequences - but the feeling expressed in the Video (at least to me) meets with perfectly the spirit of the song - it IS simultanieous!! Just great
