Flash is so much fun. I just started learning two weeks ago. I was able to put a pretty neat looking game together faster than using C#.

silverlight vs flash, i think silverlight will take out flash in the end. Mind you, Flash has had a pretty damn easy ride thus far, and thier lack of convention, and borked behind the scenesness will probaly come back to bite them. (Anyone who ever developed with AS2/3 as well as other languages will probaly know what i mean) The only thing Flash really has going for it nowadays is the fact it has market share. Flash is slow, problematic, and long overdue for death. Flash10 might be ok
