| Of course I heard her say that. What did you expect her to say? People who are terminally ill go forward with long term plans in the hope that somehow that will make the illness vanish. The point you are missing is that nobody is going to be elected President with a terminally ill wife. Never mind that Edwards has a very decided agenda. You need a new handle. There is nothing "strategic" about your thinking. |

| Great presentation by Edwards. I am a life-long Democrat who lives in a college town. I have a Master's degree and consider myself an intellectual. I also come from a background like Edwards. I am bothered by the continues reference to Obama supporters as intellectual and Edwards supporters as working class. Why the big distinction? Can't a supporter be both? What exactly is it about Obama that attracts "intellectuals"? Very curious to hear any ideas out there. |
