I was EOD when I was in the Navy. I went through the same training that SEALs do. I am a badass, and I have no doubt that I would have been just as much of a badass had I been born in the Civil War era.

I'll be the first to admit that idiots probably aren't any less common North of the Mason-Dixon line. The difference seems to be that Northern idiots aren't so determined to draw attention to themselves. Besides getting you wound up (which was disappointingly easy), my point in my earlier posts was simply that you are the sort of person people are thinking of when they say that Southerners are ignorant. Do the rest of the South a favor and quit telling everyone that's where you're from.
