Come to the KrazyHouse in Liverpool. You wouldn't believe your eyes. I was sober before I even got 3 more drinks. I was bulk buying them, just to make sure I actually got one. Not to mention, the fact there are a bunch of smacked out idiots on the stairs, or sitting in the corner, with a bunch of emos. I liked it in there for a bit, but I left on my own and got the bus home.

I agree totally with this video, but this is just another reason why I hate going to night clubs. I suspect the attitude of a lot of people is that they won't have a good time unless they're absolutely smashed, so people actually go out with the intention of getting so drunk they barely remember what happened the next day. I don't like this attitude - drink is for socialising, not getting inebriated.

Well. This particular time I was sort of 'dragged' there after another rendezvous... usually if i end up in one it's because the pack have led me there. But I usually just go home instead.

Never said I was. It's just my opinion that drinking with the aim on getting drunk is neither healthy nor particularly socially acceptable. It's not my business to tell people not to destroy their liver and act like idiots on a regular basis. Who are you to tell anyone that they can't voice their opinion?

I seem to have hit a nerve. I think it's everyone's business to have an opinion and be able to voice it (free speech and that). I wasn't telling anyone how to spend their night. Where would society be today if people were forced to "mind their own business" when they have a negative or opposing opinion about something?

I have no problem with you having an opposing opinion. It was just the way you phrased it. "Drink is for socialising, not getting inebriated" I would call that telling people how to drink, no?
