ATLANTA -- Alonzon Jones may have a lot to answer for. Jones, 29, Saturday found himself in the Fulton County Jail, facing a host of charges for his role in a wild police chase Friday afternoon.
It was a chase that included a wrong-way driving, blown tires and, finally, the suspect, Jones, run down by a police car after he ditched his own car and tried to escape on foot. Predictably, traffic was snarled in the area where it all ended...I-285 at Moreland Avenue. The chase began just after
5:00 p.m. in southeast Atlanta. The driver pulled onto the Perimeter and started driving the wrong way in the westbound lanes in DeKalb County. Rush hour drivers headed eastbound had to dodge the fleeing suspect as he veered across four lanes of the Interstate. A blown tire slowed him down, but d
idn't stop him. With smoke coming from the flat tire he kept running from police. Officers stayed on the correct side of 285 but kept pace with him. At one point the suspect pulled a U-turn across the highway and headed for an exit. Police were anticipating that move and had a car waiting for him.
When the suspect slammed on his brakes and jumped from the car the police cruiser slammed into him and sent him flying. Looking like an NFL running back the suspect bounced right back up and took off with an officer hot on his heels. With the officer closing ground quickly, the suspect turned and su
rrendered. Police charged Jones with theft by receiving stolen auto, felony obstruction and a host of traffic violations. He faces a judge on Monday morning.

if theres a lesson to learn from all this police chase....is that u can escape from the police...but if the chopper arrives....u got no chance...you only have few minutes till the chopper gets above u....the ure so fucked up...u can drive a muthafuckin Bugati Veyron...u cant loose him...

Relax, sit down and have a burger while the helicopters circle. Look interested if the crowd is, but become the crowd, jacket goes away, calmy, and thats that. Its helpful to have a newspaper, or a magazine to read while relaxing. : )

Fast food works, too or a bookstore. The thing is, to transform instantly to a boring nondescript face in the crowd. Then change color before walking into view again. If none of this works, and they approach anyways, then look mildly districted and ask, " what seems to be the problem officers?" or "I think I saw a suspicious looking character jump into that dumpster, be careful guys, he might be packing heat."

no need for apologies and ur completely correct the cops have the hardest job and they tend to be the most hated. i must say i have had nothing but good experiences with the police. the few bad ones make it bad for the good ones. most ppl that hate them are prolly on the wrong side of the law.
