this was actually a robbery. not only did sturm land more punches but his punches were heavier and more effective. by the 10th round sturm had clearly established himself has the better man and was totally dominating the fight. an embarassing decision by the judges.

i don't understand what everyone is talking about strum did'nt get robbed. it was a close fight but de la hoya clearly won. sturm landed the cleaner shots but oscar threw and landed 3 or 4 times as many punches and sturm keep running at the end of the rounds

sturm obviously got robbed. The judges scored it for de la hoya so bob arum the promter can hire them again. If de la hoya lost then there would be de la hoya hopkins fights. And if the judges gave the decision for sturm then they would not get hired by bob arum de la hoya promter
