Todo bien con la gente que escucha estos estilos. Como amante de la m
úsica trato de acercarme a todos los estilos y bandas para poder disfrutar y apreciar de lo que intentan transmitir. Obviamente me gusta el metal en general, pero lo extremo (no soy muy conocedor en cuanto a nombres), ya sea, death, brutal, grindcore, etc. no me llega y me intriga saber como hay pe
rsonas a las que si, y que son tan fanaticos. Mis sinceros respetos a estos musicos que son una grosos. Saludos y carpe diem.

Bueno cierto,es un poco complicado explicar como por ejemplo a mi me llega este tipo de genero tan brutal,pero podria ser porque aveses uno tiene problemas,y con este tipo de brutalidad uno en ves de golpear a medio mundo la escucha y se calma,no se si se entienda lo que quiero desir,pero aveses que estoy enojado pongo por ejemplo a Nile,ya despues de varios minutos,me calmo,es como si te quitara la furia no se,pero agradesco que existan el heavy netal,y sus subgeneros ^^

To KYamada. Your a fucking idiot. A melody is any pattern of changing notes or tones. This is all patterns of changing notes, therefore it has melody. I really don't blame you though, because what is classified as "melodic" metal is basically any band that uses heavy riffs in a Aeolian scale (melodic minor) and sometimes harmonic minor. Anyways, try not to be a stuck up know it all if you are as misinformed as you are. kthxbai

Incorrect; let's please skip the inane attempt at a voir dire, as all that is necessary is to simply glance at my channel page, if you intend(ed) to call my expertise into question. This piece, in a strict use of the word, would not be labeled as "melodic", in either a semantic sense or a technical sense. A "melody" is more succinct in definition than just a, as you put it, "pattern of changing notes or tones" (PS- notes/tones are interchangeable in this sense). [cont.]

I am impressed! I'll admit that my love for this band fueled my response and that I am not as big as a theory junkie as I made out to be.
I stand corrected and embaressed. I apologize for that display of idiocy. I only hope that I can one day acquire a knowledge of theory as you do (not to sound like a kiss up >_>)!
