How recently? I tried running the DirectX 9.c 3D test which is the default test (and doesn't use any shaders) and this did not work.

My problem is I'm trying to play Elder Scrolls III Morrowind and I'm ot able to get it to work right the mouse jsut seems to move on a grid rather then freely so i can't really do anything...

very nice but im very confuzed i have a amd athlon 64 3000+ with 1.5 gb ram dual and a nvidia 7300 gt 256 mb i have a question.. if i install mac ox x on my pc and run windows xp on vmware inside mac can i play games like nfs most wanted,gta san andreas ????? or i can only play lower games ?

How did you get your games to run that fast? I usually get around ten to thirty Frames per Second on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3. I appreciate all of the help!

How do you make the screen bigger for games? as I dont like playing games in a tiny box, I tried to play a game and it goes in a tiny box even tho it set to full screen? is there away to make the box bigger like in parallels?

@Stepfanny You can make the window as big or as small as you like. You can go full screen too. You can also use unity mode which is awesome. Ive used both Parallels and VMware Fusion. VMware Fusion beats Paralles in every way. Im surprised that people still use Parallels when VMware Fusion is superior in every way.

@Darkshroom Most people dont have a computer just to play games. Some do, but they are a true minority. This gives Mac users the option to play Windows games right on the Mac desktop instead of booting into Windows to do so.

When will the PC version of VMware support DirectX 9 games? I have a few DirectX 9 games that I can't run in fail Vista..so I want to run them by using Windows XP in VMware.

Not knowing you pc spces. i would have to say build a new pc. quadcore with 4 gigs of ram and 8800gt superclocked gfx card and windows xp sp3 i can easily get over 100fps on crysis (all high settings!) So like i keep telling people, its all hardware not software.

All I can say is vmware fusion is NOT good for playing current market games. Team fortress is a low spec requirment game and it wont even play that. (I have an early 2008 17inch macbook pro)
