im sure he purposely yelled because i was watching no direction home (the movie biography of bob dylan) and im pretty sure at the start of this song he yells to the band (away from the microphone) "play it fucking loud!" i think its cuz this was his return to the newport folk festival after the 1965 incident where he was getting boo'd as he played this song because he "went electric"

Bob Dylan was a visionary for all rock and roll yet to come. He was probably most likely wasted or high during this performance but nonetheless isn't that what being a rockstar is all about? lol. He's a legend for being one of the first to go electric. Go Dylan Go!
