How can you have too much power? The M3 is a car made to driven, and I think anything you can do to it to make that more of an experience is perfectly fine. Now had he put a ridiculous body kit and a giant spoiler on it, I may say otherwise.

Hi un4m3d4, I agree that the M3 is made to be driven, but you can have too much power. My point is that the first factor in a true drivers car such as an M car, is handling. The M3 is argueably the best drivers car in the world but not because of it's power, because of its handling. When you increase the power of an already very powerful car by 2 or 3 times you lose the fine balance between the M3's power and cornering capabilities. Watch how he struggles to keep the car down in the video.

And if you want proof that it is handling which makes a true drivers car not power, then just take a look at the E30 M3. There is no question, the E30 M3 was the best M3 of all time, far superior to the E36, E46 and even the new E92 M3, although it had half the power!
Too much power can make a car unpredicatable, difficult to gain traction and hard to drive and can actually make the experience a lot less pleasurable.
