The Haze ruled, baby! I never quite got the Hendrix comparisons because although there are similarities in playing style, they have (well, had...) two distinct voices on guitar. I can always tell the difference.

Jerome Brailey made this song. He's the difference that makes this song a funky P-funk groove. All other versions of this song without him playing sounds like ZZ Top or something. His drumming made that group. Mike Hampton sucks, and is the most unoriginal guitarist. He's alway playing Hazel's licks. ALL the guitar on this video, after the vocals begin is Hazel's work, straight from the album. Hampton owes Hazel and Hendrix royalties because he copied them so much.

i've said this before, the guitar that Hampton is playing is fucking amazing...i mean honestly...it's got a reverse headstock, 3 humbuckers, and on top of all that it's Funked out...can't get better than that. oh yeah it can i almost forgot, Hampton's playing it :)
