Flawless. Fatality. Perfect. You know, it shows more technique when you can play it at such a low volume level and have it sound exactly like the song. I have the same guitar and I can't move nowhere near as fast as you can on it. Keep on rocking man, you're damn good at it.

This is quite good. There are a lot of crap versions of this on You Tube so it is refreshing to hear yours. The rhythm isn't quite there on 0:18 to 0:25, but you probably knew that already. Still, the phrasing is brilliant, and it is cleaner than many of Satriani's live takes. Kudos.

Thanks a lot for the kind words. The rhythm from 0:18-0:25 is as close to perfect as it gets; maybe have another listen? Anyway, I do appreciate constructive criticism so please elaborate. Again, thanks!

I can see how that might be percieved as out of rhythm because it's not the exact way Satch plays it, but it is indeed in time. Have a listen to Satch's version - there's a pause before he goes into that bend as well. I really appreciate the feedback though! Thanks!

Sounds great! Always love to hear guys with well developed vibrato... Your legato technique is excellent as well, and is very...percussive...don't know if that's the right word, but it seems like your technique is similar to Brett Garsed's...Care to divulge how you developed your legato skills?

Hey Geckoshred, thanks for the comment! In regards to legato technique, practicing runs through different scales and patterns has helped me produce smoother transitions. What I mean by that is instead of running up and down the same scale, which does help at first, I'll try to practice going from one octave to the next and then slide into the next scale/pattern all the while throwing in different groupings. After a while it becomes effortless.
