| I wonder what happened to these guys. Geoff Tate was considered to be one of the best singers in the world, boasting a five octave vocal range. For non-musicians, that's 3 or 4 more octaves than the rest of us. And I totally disagree. Queensryche was never trying to sound like Pink Floyd. If you've heard any of their other music, they're nothing alike. |

| I first heard of Queensryche when this song made airplay and I just loved it and I was one of MANY who assumed this was new Pink Floyd! I started listening to Queensryche after this and I now have every album they have put out.... Commercially of course! Geoff Tate is Incredible! |

| Not many see through the real meaning of this song. It's not just about the pain you've suffered, but about using the pain to achieve something great in life. To get over the pain is an achievement, but not great enough. The greatest achievement is to convert that grieve and feeling of pain to higher things in life. Not just monetarily.... we cannot simply live with our memories, but to create good ones for others. Our life is not just about ourselves! |
